      Rueben Arnold and Margaret Hudson are not conected to The Isaac and Sarah Morton or George Arnold

      Reuben is a son of Isaac and Elizabeth Arnold and came to Garrard County, Kentucky in the 1780's with his 2 brothers, Humphrey and John, 3 sisters, Mary Arnold (Jacob Mann), Sarah Arnold (Berry), Elizabeth Arnold ( John Shepherd).

      Reuben died 7 February 1807 and was buried at his home place 1 1/2 mile out of Lancaster, Kentucky
      Margaret Died 26 October 1848 and is also buried there along with their son Isaac.

      These are my 5 g grand parents.

      THIS INDENTURE made this 20th day of May in year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty two Between DAVID HUDSON and KEZIAH his Wife of one part and REUBEN ARNOLD of other part; Witnesseth that DAVID HUDSON and KEZIAH his Wife in consideration of the sum of Fifteen pounds to them in hand paid, by these presents do bargain and sell unto REUBEN ARNOLD his heirs one tract of land containing Fifty acres being the same more or less bounded, Begining at a small Pine and red Oak saplin, corner to DAVID HUDSON, thence N. 29 E. 124 poles to three Hickories, corner to said HUDSON, SUTTON and ARNOLD, thence No. 87 E. 16 pole to a Hickory & a white Oak in said line, thence S. 7 E. 128 poles to one Pine, thence So. 30 West 131 pole to a Pine & red Oak saplin, thence to the begining, Together with all water courses profits and commodities to said land belonging and the rents issues and profits thereof and estate right title claim or demand of said DAVID HUDSON and KEZIAH his Wife or his heirs; To have and to hold the bargained land and premises with the appurtenances unto REUBEN ARNOLD his heirs, And DAVID HUDSON and KEZIAH his Wife for himself and his heirs the land and premises to REUBEN ARNOLD his heirs against the claim of any person shall warrant and forever defend by these presents; In Witness whereof the said parties hath hereunto set their hands & seals the day & year written Signed Sealed & Delivered in presence of

      This Indenture of Bargain and Sale from DAVID HUDSON and KEZIAH his Wife to REUBEN ARNOLD was partly proved by the Oaths of JAMES SLAUGHTER and ABSALOM CORNELIUS two of the witnesses thereto and ordered to be Certified; And at a Court held for said County October 15th 1787; This said Indenture was fully proved by the Oath of JOSEPH GAINES another of the witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded

      THIS INDENTURE made this fifteenth day of October one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven Between REUBEN ARNOLD and PEGGY his Wife of County of Culpeper of one part and THOMAS GAINES of same County of other part; Wit-nesseth that REUBEN ARNOLD and PEGGY his Wife for the full and just sum of Fifty pounds current money of Virginia to them in hand paid by THOMAS GAINES, by these presents doth bargain and sell unto THOMAS GAINES his heirs one certain parcel of land lying in County of Culpeper containing by estimation Fifty acres more or less & bounded, Begining at a small Pine and red Oak saplin, corner to DAVID HUDSON, thence North twenty nine degrees East one hundred and twenty four poles to three Hickorys corner to said HUDSON, SUTTON and ARNOLD, thence North eighty seven degrees East sixteen poles to a Hickory and white Oak in said line, thence South seven degrees East one hundred and twenty eight poles to one Pine, thence South thirty degrees West thirty one poles to a Pine & red Oak saplin, thence to the begining; Together with all houses and commodities to the same belonging and the rents issues and profits thereof and all the estate right title & demand in the same and REUBEN ARNOLD and PEGGY his Wife will warrant and forever defend the land and premises with its appurtenances unto THOMAS GAINES his heirs; In Witness whereof REUBEN ARNOLD and PEGGY his Wife have hereunto set their hands & seals the day month & year first above written
