      We still do not know whether Richard Wright b. 5 Jul 1664 Bolton-on-Swale lived to adulthood or if he immigrated to Virginia. The evidence is still only circumstantial. His father George Wright married a second time to a woman named Margaret N.N. Their son John Wright, Esq. became heir to ALL of the family estates m. Margaret Greathead. [Details are available]

      The deposition of WM. GARNER aged 20 years or thereabouts examined & sworn saith that on the tenth of this Instant your Deponent was at the house of Capt. RICHARD FOSSAKER where one RICHARD WKIGHT lay sick on his Death bed where your Deponent heard him say that he desired that MARY ELLIS should have his son WM. WRIGHT & that GILBERT ALSUP should have his son RICHD. WRIGHT and ye sd Alsop should be his Executor to take care of his Estate & pay his debts & what was left after his debts were paid to be equally divided his said two sons and further your Deponent saith not. Given 14th day October 1700. Wm. Garner
