In the Name of GOD Amen. I John Grigory being very Sick and Weak in body in perfect mind and memory Doe make this my last Will & Tesamt:
First I give my Soule to God that gave it me a Sure and Certaine hope that after this life Ended, that at the last day my Soule & Body shall be Untied together, & my body to the Earth to be buried in a Terestiall Buriall as my Friends shall think Fitt & as for my worldly Goods. I bestow as followed.
Item I give unto my Sister Mary Grigory foure hundred and Eighty acreas of Land being a Tract of land former brought by Robert Bishop of Mr. Henry Awbrey to her and heires forever but if my Said Sister Die with out Issue lawfully begotten of her, that then the said land to Returne to the nearest of Blood, Alsoe one pied Cow Calfe the said Cow shall being to be delivered to Katherine Armstrong to her and heires for Ever.
Item I give to my Sister Elizabeth one Red Cow with all her increase to her and heires for Ever Alsoe.
I doe Appoint my Brother Richard Grigory my whole and Sole Execr of this my Will to See it performed as WITNESS my hand this 18th dor Decembr: 1677

BISHOP, ROBERT, of the County of Rappahannock & Parish of Farnham.
To John Grigory Jr., the land I bought of Mr Henry Awbrey to him and his heirs forever likewise all my personal estate. Executor John Grigory, Jr.
Wit. THO : WHEELER, aged 30 years or thereabouts, JOHN GARNER, aged 25 years of thereabouts, JOHN X BURNETT.
Later 24th of May 1676 he gave his Executor power and command to demand and receive two hundred and thirty five pounds of good tobacco of John Jones my brother-in-law which is to be paid by October 10, 1676 and the sd John Grigory is to produce an heifer with the sd tobo for the use of John Jones, Jr. with the increase of the sd. heifer untill the sd. John Jones comes of age and likewise I give John Grigory, Jr order to receive one heifer which is at Capt. John Grigory's pen marked with a cropp and a slitt in the left eare one year old of a red colour with her increase male and female when the said John Jones shall come of age and likewise one sow when the ad John Jones shall come of age and the sd John Grigory to keep the ad two heifers with their increase until the sd John Jones shall come of age and then deliver them with their increase.

THIS INDENTURE made the ninth day of December 1676 Between JOHN GRIGORY of the Parish of Farnham in Rappae County in Virginia, TANNER, Sonne & heir apparant of JOHN GRIGORY, late of the Parish & County aforesaid, TANNER, deced of the one part and JOHN GATEWOOD of the Pish & County aforesaid, Planter, of the other part. Witnesseth that the said JOHN GRIGORY for the sum of One thousand eight hundred & forty pounds of tobacco to him paid path sold unto the said JOHN GATEWOOD his heires & assignes forever (in his actuall possession being by force of one Deed of bargain & sale and by virtue of the Statute for transferring uses into possession) all that parcell of land conteyning One hundred acres lying & extending as followeth (Vitt) in length from a white Oak marked by both the parties to these prsents upon the MAINE SWAMP at the head of the Creek commonly called GREGORIES CREEK to the head of (blank) BISHOP & soe up North West to two black Oakes marked & in breadth from then over the said PISH CHURCH ROAD to a marked red Oak neere the FOOT PATH leading from the new Dwelling House & Plantation of HENRY AWBERY to the house & Plantation of the said JOHN GRIGORY & see along the PATH to a Pokekery tree marked, thence to a branch sdie along by & near the sd JOHN GRIGORYs Pasture Fence & by & neere the said CHURCH ROAD SWAMP & soe extending to the first mentioned White Oake, All wch prmises are scituate in the Parish of FARNHAM aforesaid and all are part & parcell of a tract of land held & enjoyed by virtue of a Pattent granted to the said JOHN GRIGORY deced, Andall the priviledges of mines & minerals wth all rights of hunting, fishing & fowling, wth woods waters & rivers to same belonging And the copies of all Pattents & writings whatsoever that said JOHN GRIGORY hath in his Custody or may come by touching or concerning the prmises To have and to hold from the date of the date herefof to said JOHN GATEWOOD his heires & assignes and to hold same freely without molestation of said JOHN GRIGORY his heires & assignes & all other persons In Witness whereof the said JOHN GRIGORY hath set his hand & Seale dated the day & yeare first above written Signed sealed & delivered

KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I JOHN GRIGORY of Rappae. County in FARNHAM Parish in Virginia, Planter, doe by these presents for ye entire affection I have & beare unto my Beloved Sister, ELIZABETH GRIGORY, now Wife to THOMAS WHEELER, give grant & make over unto my aforesaid Sister & to ye issue of her body lawfully begotten two hundred & ffifty acres of land being in ye County & Pish aforesd, & bounding upon ye fork of HOSKINS CREEK. Now in casemy Sister shall die without issue as aforesd, then the aforesd, land to returne to me the donor. In Witness whereof I have sett my hand & seale this 20th of June 1677 & further I doe Midge myselfe my heires to acknowledge this aforesaid Gift in open Court & to give a more firme Deed of GIFT if required. As Witness my hand ye day above written

KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I JOANE MILLS, Widdow, of Farnham Parish in ye County of Rappa: doe hereby deliver unto JOHN GREGORY, the Son of JOHN GREGORY, a yellow heifer marked with two slitts and a peice cutt off next to ye head on the left eare and a crop on the right ears, To have use and enjoy the said yearling heifer wth her increase unto the said JOHN GREGORY to his heires forever But if he should die in his minority that then his Brother. ROBERT HAMLE TIN, shall have the said heifer and all her increase forever as Witness my hand the 7th day of July

Deed. 9 August 1703. Mr Robert Deputy and Eliz'a his wife of Middlesex Co., sell Mr Richard Kemp of same Co., 300 acres. Eliz'a Deputy, wife of Robt., being the daughter of Hugh Mead of Piscataway late deceased. The land being on N. side of Piscataway Creek, 100 acres whereof formerly sold by John Soaper of said Co., deceased, to Hugh Mead by deed dated 6 April 1667 and 200 acres granted to Mr John Grigory and the said Hugh Mead by patent dated 4 Oct. 1675 and joining the other 100 acres.
