It was located about 3 miles from the mouth of Chotonk Creek and 3 miles east of Saint Paul's Episcopal Church near the Owens post office. In 1978, the cemetery at "Bedford" was relocated to the cemetery at Saint Paul's Episcopal Church, King George County.
