      KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I PETER RANSON of ye County of GLOCESTER Gent., have made ordained & constitute THOMAS PETTIS of ye County of KING & QUEEN my true & lawful! Attorney Generall for me to my use to aske sue for receive from all persons whatsoever all & every such sums of money or tobacco as are now due & oweing or shall become due unto me by Bill bond ascot. or any other waies or means and upon non payment thereof to sue imprison & prosecute and upon such suits to proceed to Judgmt. & upon paymt. of the same acquittances or other sufficient discharges in ye Law to make male & deliver Attorney or Attorneys under him for ye purposes aforesaid to make and ye same at his pleasure to revoke & generally to do in & about ye premisses as fully as I my selfe might or could do if personally present.       THIS INDENTURE made the 25th day of Febry, 1714 Between PETER RANSONE and DOROTHY his Wife of Parish of KINGSTONE and County of GLOUCESTER of one parte and THOMAS WARING and ELIZABETH his Wife of other parte. Witnesseth that PETER RANSONE and DOROTHY his Wife in consideration of Foure thousand five hundred pounds of tobacco to them in hand paid hath bargained Sould & confirmed unto sd, THOMAS WARING & ELIZABETH his Wife all their right of Dower to one tract of land lying in St. Anns Parish in Essex County containing by estimation three hundred acres (be the same more or less) and now in the tenure and occupation of sd. PETER RANSONE, the fee simple whereof formerly in THOMAS GOULDMAN deceasd: sometime the Husband of her the sd.
