Jan 18, 1747[18] from John Turner of CC, to Joseph Glaze of CC, for 10,500 lbs tobacco, a parcel of land containing about 100 acres, being part of a tract of land called Turners Forrest, formerly called Bow, & bounded by a tree that sd John Turner himself bounded, containing and laid out for about 100 acres. Signed - John (1 his mark) Turner. Wit - Geo: Dent, George Dent Jr. Elizabeth, wife of the said John Turner, released her dower.

Indenture made August 29, 1750; Between Charles Carroll, Esq of the City of Annapolis in Anne Arundel County, Maryland of one part and John Turner of PGCo of the other part. Whereas Daniel Carroll by his last will and testament bearing date April 12, 1734 did will and authorize Charles Carroll party to this deed to sell all his lands which should not in any one tract exceed 500 acres and Whereas Daniel Carroll had a right to a moiety of the land. Witnesseth that Charles Carroll in consideration of 40 pounds sterling money paid by John Turner has sold part of a tract called "Seckerleys Tenement" being part of "Stones Delight" containing 72 acres.
