KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that we HENRY CRITTENDOM, HENRY TANDY & WILLIAM UPSHAW are held & firmly bound unto SAL. MUSCOE, JAS. GARNETT, THOS JONES & WM. ROAN Gent Justices for the County of Essex in the sum of two hundred pounds Sterl. witness our hands and seals this XVIIth day of May MDCCXXXVII
THE CONDITION of this obligation is such that if ye above bound HENRY CRITTENDOM Admr. of all the goods chattels & credits of BENJAMIN MOSELEY deced do make or cause to be made a true & perfect inventory of all the goods chattels & credits of the sd deced the same so made do exhibit or cause to be exhibited in the County Court of Essex at such time as he shall be thereunto required by the said Court & further do make a just and true account of his actings & doings therein when thereto required by the sd Court and provided if it shall hereafter appear that any last Will and Testament was made by the sd Deced & the Exr. or Exrs. named do exhibit the same in sd Court making request to have it allowed & approved Accordingly if the said HENRY being thereunto required do deliver up his Letters of Admon. approabtion of such Testament being first had and made in the sd Court Then this obligation to be void and of none effect . .

IN OBEDIENCE to an order of Essex County Court dated the 17th day of May 1737 we the Subscribers (being first sworn) do appraise the Estate of BENJAMIN MOSELEY deceased as follows vizt. .. items listed and valued but not totalled .. (some of the items in this inventory being) one negro man named George; cattle sheep and a mare; a feather bed and furniture; his wearing apparel (value Two pounds ten shillings); 1/2 bushels of salt (valued at One pound three shillings) .

At a Court held for Essex County at Tappa. on the XVIIth day of January MDCCXXXVII HENRY CRITTENDON presented this account of his Admon. of the Estate of BENJAMIN MOSELEY deced produced his Vouchers for the same and made oath thereto, and the Court valued the tobacco therein at twelve shillings and six pence per hundred and then the said account was allowed and ordered to be recorded
