      - BAXTER's Will proved
      The Last Will and Testament of MARY BAXTER, deced., was presented into Court by
      ABRAHAM THOMAS and AMY BAXTER, her Executors, who made Oath thereto and being
      proved by the Oaths ofNATHANIEL POPE and EDWARD MERRICK, wittnesses thereto, is
      admitt to Record and upon motion ofthe Exectors and their performing what is
      usuall in such cases, Certificate is granted them for obtaining a Probate
      thereofin due form, And it is ordered that JOSEPH WEEKES, THOMAS SHAW, JOHN
      ELLIOTT and NATHANIELWASHINGTON or any three ofthem being first sworn before one
      his Majesties Justices for this County doe some time before the next Court value
      and appraise the Estate of MARY BAXTER and make report thereof to the next Court

      At a Court held for the said County the 26th day of November 1718
      ROBERT VAULX by his Petieon sett forth that GEORGE ALDERSON late decd. did leave
      a small Estate and three small children and appointed MARY BAXTER his Exorx. who
      is also departed this life that the Estate fell to decay and no person of their
      relacon of the said children capable to bring them up that the said VAULX out of
      charity had admitted MARY one of the said orphans to dwell with him and prayed
      the Court's order for the said MARY and her Estate. Upon consideracon whereof It is
      the Court's opinion that the said VAULX do entertain and keep the said MARY
      ALDERSON and that he be possessed with her Estate till she be of age to receive
      the same the Exors. of the said MARY BAXTER being present and consenting to the
      Court Judgment herein.

      26th February 1718
      Judgment is granted ABRAHAM BAXTER, Exor. of MARY BAXTER, decd. which said MARY
      was Exorx. of GEORGE ALDERSON, decd. for the sum of four thousand two hundred
      and tenn pounds of tobacco payable out of the said ALDERSON's Estate the rate of
      eighteen shillings the hundred.
