      BE IT KNOWN unto all men by these presents that I RICHARD PAYNE of the County of Richmond, Planter, path for a valuable consideration in Law to me in hand already paid by GEO: PAYNE of the aforesaid County, Planter, have sold and sett over unto the said GEORGE PAYNE and to his heirs and assigns forever, one parcell of Land by estimation Sixty acres or less so Judged being in the County of Richmd: on the North side of PAPETA CREEK, it being part of the Land which the said GEO: PAYNE liveth on, the which parcell of land was given by JOHN PAYNE SENR. deced to his Son, RICHARD PAYNE, bounded on the lower side by a Deviding that makes out of the aforesaid CREEK and so running up the Deviding along a Beaverdam called PAYNES BEAVERDAM the which said parcel of Land being all that vas given aforesaid; To have and to hold with all woods waters and all appurtinances belonging to the aforesaid Land to the said GEORGE PAYNE & his heirs forever in as large and ample manner as can be & I the said RICHARD PAYNE do oblige myself to acknowledge this Sale at the first Court held for Richmond, In Consideration whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seal this the 3d. day of November in the year of our Lord God 1696
