      Jan. 15, 1678/9 - William Wells vs. Kenelme Magloughlin. The Sheriff returned the writ non est inventus because Kenelme hath absented himself out of the Province. Ordered that Wells have an attachment against the estate of Magloughlin for 620 lbs. of tobacco. (Charles Co., Md. Court and Land Records, Liber H, Page 113.)

      Jan. 15, 1678/9 - Capt. Gerrard Slye vs. Kenelme Magloughlin. The Sheriff returned the writ non est inventus because Kenelme hath absented himself out of the Province. Ordered that Slye have an attachment against the estate of Magloughlin for 2560 lbs. of tobacco and costs of suit. (Charles Co., Md. Court and Land Records, Liber H, Page 119.)

Ordered that Hawkins have an attachment against the estate of Magloughlin for 500 lbs. of tobacco and costs of suit. (Charles Co., Md. Court and Land Records, Liber H, Page 120.)

      Jan. 15, 1678/9 - Benjamin Rozer vs. Kenelme Magloughlin. The Sheriff returned the writ non est inventus because Kenelme hath departed out of the Province. Ordered that Rozer have an attachment against the estate of Magloughlin for 1584 lbs. of tobacco and costs of suit. (Charles Co., Md. Court and Land Records, Liber H, Page 122.)

      Nov. 30, 1681-Jan. 10, 1681/2 - John Addison demands a writ of capias against Kenelme Magloughlin in a plea of trespass on the case. Sheriff’s return: So sick and languishing that I cannot have his body as I am within required. (Charles Co., Md. Court and Land Records, Liber I, Page 222.)

      Jan. 11, 1681/2 - John Addison vs. Kenelme Magloughlin. The writ was returned by the Sheriff “languishing.” Ordered that a duces? tecum? issue forth to the Sheriff to bring Kenelme Magloughlin to the next court to answer said action. (Charles Co., Md.
