He bequeathed his daughter Mary Carman, wife of John Carman, $20 together with what he had given her before the writing of the will. He bequeathed his grandson Archibald Wilson his squirrel gun. Samuel then bequeathed the remainder of his estate, after payment of debts, to his daughter Jane Carman, wife of Amos Carman. The will states that this includes one plantation (upon which Samuel lived) called Dyne's Lot, as well as all his personal property.
