Sons John and Henry 800 acres of land to be divided between them where they are now seated; Henry my chest and wearing apparel; son Vincent plantation whereon I live and land in Horn Point, my long gun and hanger and a yoke of oxen. Also one-half of money of sloop the Outcry; Vincent to pay sons Thomas and Parish 2000 lbs. tobacco and to son Benjamin 2000 lbs. tobacco at age of 21 years; son James 2000 lbs. tobacco ; to daughters Mary, Susan, and Martha each a thomb ring; wife Susan residue of estate; Witnesses; William Gardner, John Williams, William More.

- Probate of the Last Will and Testament of VINCENT GARNER deceased is granted to MARTHA GARNER, PARISH JAMES and BENJAMIN GARNER Executors therein named the said Will being proved by the Oaths of DAVID STRAUGHAN, WILLIAM LEWIS and WILLIAM GRINSTEED Witnesses thereto and is Recorded.
Upon the Motion of MARTHA GARNER, PARRISH JAMES and BENJAMIN GARNER Executors of VINCENT GARNER deceased Mr. DAVID STRAUGHAN, Capt. RICHARD HEWS, Mr. RODHAM NEALE, ROBERT REEVES and FRANCIS VANLANDEGHAM and Four of them are by the Court appointed to meet sometime before the next Court and being Sworn Appraise the Estate of VINCENT GARNER deceased And Ordered that his said Executors Exhibit a true and perfect Inventory thereof to the next Court upon their Oaths.

Westmoreland County Court 27th of April 1709
- THOMAS v COX
CHARNOCK COX of the Parish of Cople and County aforesaid being bound by Recognizance to appeare at this Court to answer the Complaint of JAMES THOMAS, one ofher Majtie's Constables for the County aforesaid, that CHARNOCK COX on the 23d day ofFebruary last past did with force and violence resine out of his custody one Negro runaway man called by the name of Dick (as it is said) belonging to one VINCENT GARNER ofthe County of NORTHUMBERLAND which said THOMAS had in custody by vertue of a hue and cry from one ofthe Justices of the Peace for this County and was carring the said Negroe to the next Constable as the Law directs, this day appeared to answer the same and together with his bayle, WILLIAM SELFE, were discharged and it is ordered CHARNOCK COX doe forthwith deliver unto JAMES THOMAS the Negro man named Cick in order JAMES THOMAS his conveying the Negroe Dick to his Master, VINCENT GARNER, as by Law directed and that he pay all costs of prosecution

VINCENT GARNER is by the Court appointed Overseer of the Highways from Dawson's Mill to the Court house and Ordered that he together with the Inhabitants adjacent forthwith Clear the Roads within his precincts according to Iaw and Also further Ordered that he together with the Inhabitants on Each side Webb's Mill Dam forthwith repair and mend the same and make it passable for man and Horse.

25 September 1722. Deed. William Rout and Ann his wife of St. Stephen's Parish, Northumberland County to George Eskridge, of Westmoreland County, Gent. For £40 current money. 100 acres of land in Cople Parish on Horn Point, Yeocomico River "and the creek that goeth out of the River to the house where the said Eskridge now lives and on the head with a cove where the ships generally ride near the store house and with a line that divides this land from the lands of Jeremiah Garland which sd land was given to the aforesaid Ann by the last will and testament of her dec'd father Vincent Garner..." William signed with signature, Ann by mark. Witnessed by Is/ W. Sturman and /s/ Wharton Ransdell. Possession delivered the same day before the same witnesses. Acknowledged in court with Ann Rout relinquishing her dower on 26 September 1722. Recorded 9 October 1722.
