      Note:
John Brooke's will in 1763 also lists a daughter Susannah, listed after the name of son William. Inventory documents mention Susannah Wathen/Warthing/Watkins who may be this daughter. If so she may have married Waring/Wearing Wathen, son of Ignatius Wathen, who was indebted to John's estate. It has been suggested this Susannah Wathen who is mentined as next of kin in John Brooke's inventories was actually Susannah, widow of Ignatius Wathen, who may have been John's sister. Not sure if this Susannah is John's daughter or the widow.
