Lee, Kendal, of Wicomoco Parish
W. W. 18 September 1779---W. P. 14 February 1780
Wife Betty Lee-use of one half of my plantation whereon I now dwell, use of one half of my water grist mill which I purchased of John Eustace, during her natural life, and at her death or marriage to my son William Lee.
Son William Lee-remainder part of my plantation and water grist mill.
Daughter Betty Edwards-one shilling, she having already been paid her portion of my estate.
Daughters Judith, and Priscilla-each two hundred pounds current money, when they marry or arrive to the age of twenty one years.
My executors to sell my land in Northampton County on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, containing one thousands acres, and the money put into the Virginia Loan Office, and the whole divided between my five sons George, Kendal, Hancock, Richard Lancelot, and Arthur, to be paid them at the age of twenty one years. If any of them
should die, their parts to the survivors.
The negro woman Dorcas I bought from John Kents estate, to be sold to anyone of my children, and the money from such sale to go to Betsy and Nancy, daughters of said John Kent.
Wife Betty, and my children Williams George, Judith, Kendal, Hancock, Priscilla, Richard, Lancelot, and Arthur-all my negroes except the ones directed to be sold, and my personal estate, to be divided between them when they arrive to the age of twenty one, and they to be educated and maintained out of my estate.
Wife Betty Lee, and sons William and George Lee, and friend Doctor Archibald Campbell, executors.
Witness: Thomas Edwards, William Kents Thomas Smithers, and Charles Lee.
