      "being at this time in perfect health .."
      Bequeaths to:
      1. Margaret Contee --wife
      -to have one third part of the estate real and personal
      2. Elizabeth (Contee ?) --daughter
      -to have 1/2 of tract of land lying in Charles County and Baltimore County and one fourth part or the personal estate
      3. Jane (Contee ?) --daughter
      -to have the other 1/2 of the land lying in Charles and Baltimore counties and one fourth part of the personal estate
      4. Richard Alexander Contee --son
      -to have the tract of land whereon testator now dwells called 'Ranebough" and also to have one fourth part of the personal estate
      -named executor of the will and instructed that testator desires that his "body may be buried in a private and decent manner agreeable to the Liturgy of the Church of England and in a short time after I desire that a funeral Sermon may be preached at the Church of Queen Anne Parish for which give the Rector thereof four Pistoles."

      Indenture made February 13, 1783; John Contee being legally possessed of part of a tract called "Ranelagh", that in consideration of the natural love and affection which he hath and bearth unto Richard Alexander Contee has assigned the aforesaid tract containing 340 acres and beginning at a white oak standing in the swamp of the south west branch being the last boundary of "Largo" and bounded by the beginning red oak of "North Hampton"and the 5th boundary of "Largo". Signed John Contee in the presence of and acknowledged before Osborn Sprigg, Samuel Hepburn and at the same time Margaret Contee wife of John Contee relinquished her right of dower

Sep 15, 1786 from John Contee of Prince George's County, to Elizabeth Keeth and Jane Contee, daughters of the sd John Contee, for the natural love he has for them, he has given them, as tenants in common, to be equally divided between them, all that tract of land in CC called Baltimore Bounty, bounded by a broad flat valley, containing 1173 acres. Signed - John Contee. Wit - David Craufurd, Sam Hepburn. This deed was acknowledged in Prince George's County by sd John Contee and Margaret, his wife. John Read Magruder, Clk Prince George's County, certified that afd David Craufurd and Samuel Hepburn, Gent, are JPs for Prince George's County, Recorded Mar 9, 1787.

      A little farther off is buried Mrs. Mary Contee, consort
      of Richard Alex. Contee and daughter of David and Sarah
      Craufurd, who died in Upper Marlborough on March 11, in
      the year of our Lord 1787 in the nineteenth year of her age.

In witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this March 29, 1784, John Contee in the presence of and acknowledged before Frank Leeke, David Craufurd and at the same time Margaret Contee wife of John Contee relinquished her right of dower
