WILL OF JAMES DANIEL SR. November 8, 1791.
in the name of God, Amen, I James Daniel Sr., of Orange County being at present permitted to enjoy a sound state of mind and memory, Thanks be to God for it and calling to mind that it is appointed for all flesh to die, hereby revoking all other will or x'Llls, do constitute and appoint this my last will and testament.
Viz: I Give my soul to God who gave it into existence In full comfi- that he will receive it into Glory and my body a Christian burial at the discretion of my executives hereafter appointed.
Item: I give and bequeath unto my dear and well beloved children, Elizabeth Daniel Margaret Daniel, Frances Daniel, James Daniel, William Daniel Susanna Daniel and Mary Daniel the land where I now live, to them and their heirs forever to remain a home for 'hen, undivided and unsold until consent of every one of the above
named children shall be had, then to be equally divided among them item- will and desire is that, as my sons have received a feather bed that my daughters shall each have a good one.
Item: I give my riding horse to my daughter, Elizabeth Daniel.
Item: I give all the residue of my estate after paying all my just debts to remain with my said children on same terms with my land.
1 do hereby constitute and appoint John Daniel, my executor of this my last will and testament in confirmation of I have here unto sot my hand and seal this eighth day of November-, one thousand seven hundred ninety one. (November 8, 1791).
