WILL OF JOHN WHITEMAN
In the Name of God Amen, this is the Last Will & Testament of John Whiteman being weak in body but in his perfect sense and memory.
Imp: I give and bequeath to my sister Sarah Fewell twenty yards of double white linen and ten ells of Dowlass.
Imps I do give and bequeath to my Cousen James Lunsford six ells of dowlass.
Imps I do give and bequeath to my Cose (sic) William Etherington all my wearing cloths and a Gunn.
Imp. And I do also make Robert Doniphan my whole and sole Executor and I do give and bequeath to the said Robert Doniphan all the rest of my estate and goods that I have in the world and he to bury me in a decent manner this 5th day of March Anno Dom: 1734/5 and so setting my hand scale.
