Feb 17, 1733 [/4] from Francis Gray and Ann, his wife, eldest daughter and coheiress to a certain William Hargiss, eldest son and heir at law of William Hargiss, the original patentee of the same land and premises hereafter mentioned, in CC, to Alexander Adair of CC, Practitioner of Physick, for 1000 lbs tobacco, and for divers other valuable considerations, all that tract of land called Hargisses Hope, according to the original patent granted by the Lord Pro'pry to their ancestor, containing about 200 acres.
