1767-1769 Prince George's County, Maryland Land Records Liber BB 2 [Abstract by Mike Marshall]; Page 379. At the request of Henry Humphry the following Deed was recorded March 31, 1769
Indenture made March 29, 1769; Henry Biggs, planter of one part and Henry Humphry, planter of the other part; witnessed that whereas William Talbert did heretofore by a deed of conveyance recorded bearing date November 7, 1754 sell and convey unto Henry Biggs a parcel of land containing 115 acres being part of "Radford's Chance" beginning near Tinkers Branch. And whereas by a late inspection into the bounds of the whole tract it appears that the courses and distances includes lands that lay in an elder survey which means there is no more than the quantity of 84 ¼ acres. Now this indenture witnesseth that Henry Biggs in consideration of 84 pounds 5 shillings currency paid by Henry Humphrey has sold all that part of "Radford's Chance" which lays clear of elder surveys and begins at the part sold and conveyed by William Talburt to Henry Biggs. Signed Henry Biggs in the presence of John Hepburn, Samuel Hawkins Bayne and acknowledged before John Hepburn and at the same time Mary Biggs wife of Henry Biggs relinquished her right of dower
