      Charles County Land Records 1792-1796; Liber N#4; Page 451. Jul 16, 1795 from Zacheus Davis of CC, to Vylater Davis, Margauter (Margarter) Davis, Ann Davis, and Elizabeth Reeder Davis, of CC, for 5 shillings, all those tract of land in Trinity Parish in CC, called Birds Head and Woods Wilderness, containing about 137-1/2 acres. These are the lands that sd Zacheus Davis bought of John Campbell and Marion Campbell, his wife, and Mat Maxwell, by deed dated Jul 13, 1792. Also, another tract of land in Trinity Parish in CC called Davis Wilderness, containing 20 acres adjoining the above tracts called Birds head and Woods Wilderness, and taken up by sd Zacheus Davis as vacant land. Also, another tract of land in Trinity Parish in CC called Wittom Inlarged, and is the same land whereon Elizabeth Morton now lives and which sd Zacheus Davis purchased of the Murpheys by deed to whom this land was devised by William Morton dead), the one dated Oct 15. 1794, the other dated May 20, 1795. Signed - Zaccheus Davis. Wit - Alexr McPherson*, Walter Dyson*. Margaret Davis, wife to sd Zacheus Davis, relinquished her right of dower. Recorded Aug 29, 1795.
