      TO All CHRISTIAN PEOPLE to whome this present writing shall come, I ROBERT PECK of ST. MARYs Parish in County of Richmond sendeth Greeting in our Lord God everlasting: Now Know yee that I ROBERT PECK being of good and perfect.
      mind and without fraud or deceit for divers good causes more especially for the love good will & affection which I have and bare towards my loving friend, MARGARETT ORIAN, Daughter to JOHN and MARY ORIAN [O'rear] of STAFFORD County by and with the free consent and good likeing of my loving Wife, MARGARETT PECK, by these presents do give grant and confirme unto MARGARETT ORIAN One hundred acres of land more or less to be possessed of said Land after the deaths of her aforesaid Father and Mother. JOHN and MARY ORIAN, and not before, to whome it is by me ROBERT PECK and my Wife, MARGARETT, least sett and to farme left during the naturall lives of her said Father and Mother, JOHN and MARY ORIAN, as by an Instrument of Writing given under our hands and seales bearing date the Tenth day of May one thousand seven hundred and eight will appeare, the one hundred acres of land being part of a greater quantity of land formerly granted to ROBERT KING deced bearing date the Eighteenth of May one thousand six hundred and sixty nine and lying in the Parish of ST. MARYES in County of Richmond and bounded as in the said Instrument of Wriitng unto said MARGARETT ORIAN herheirs and to her owne use after ye decease of her said Father and Mother against all people will warrnt and defend as Wittness our hands and seales this Tenth day of May one thousand seven hundred and eight

      THIS INDENTURE made this Tenth day of May in the yeare of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and Eight Betweene ROBERT PECK and MARGRETT his Wife a of ST. MARYS Parish in County of Richmond of one part and JOHN ORIAN of the County of STAFFORD of other part; Wittnesseth that ROBERT PECK & MARGRETT his Wife for the summe of Three thousand five hundred pounds of tobbo: caske in hand paid by said JOHN ORIAN [O'rear] by these presents have sett and left to farme unto JOHN ORIAN and MARY his Wife a certaine Neck of Land about a hundred acres more or less lying in the Parish of ST. MARYES and County of Richmond being part of a greater quantity of land formerly granted to ROBERT KING deceased, bearing date the 18th May 1669, and being sould and made over from the said KING to the said ROBERT PECK and HENRY BERRY the first day of May 1671 and now in ye tenure and possession of said ROBERT PECK and bounded Begining att a markt wh Oake on the maine branch of OMEN CREEK binding on SAMLL. DUCHEMAS line, thence along the maine branch to
      the dividing line of said ROBERT PECK and HENRY BERRY, then along the said line to a corner red Oake standing by the dividing line, then along a line of markt. trees to a corner red Oake standing by a small branch that runs out of the aforesaid Maine Branch, then along ye sd. small branch binding on the said DUCHEMANs land to the first mentioned white Oake, all the Neck of Land wth: all houses orchards profitts and hereditaments whatsoever; To have and to hold the land by these presents demised to JOHN ORIAN and MARY his Wife for and during the terme of their naturall lives and the life of the longest liver of them successively one after the other as they are herein named; paying yearly dureing the terme unto ROBERT PECK his heires on the tenth day of October one Ear of Indian Come if lawfully demanded discharged from all former inbumbrances whatsoever In Wittness whereof the parties above mentioned have herewith sett their hands and seals the day year above written
