Bequeaths to:
1. Benedict Barnes --son
- to have his choice of 3 Negro fellows; "George" "Andrew'' and "Boles- at the decease of testator's widow
2. Tracey Barnes --daughter
-to have as much money as will purchase her a young Negro woman
3. Eizabeth Barnes --wife
-to have the remainder of the estate for her natural life or widowhood and to be disposed among testator's children as she sees proper
-named executor of the will
Witnesses: Charles Jones, Benjamin Harris, Samuel Jones
Then came: Charles Jones and Samuel Jones

Bequeaths to:
1. Tracey (Barnes ?) --daughter
-to have the 50 pounds testatrix's husband left her to be paid as quickly as possible
2. Resin Barns --son
-all the estate to be kept together for the present year and Resin to make what he can and divide the crop between he and his sister 'Tracey and after the present year the crop now in the house and everything else to be divided among all of testatrix's children
-to have one of the Negro men after appraisement
-named executor of the will and the corn in the house to continue to be for the use of the family until next December and after that all of testatrix's children to "shift for themselves with each of their parts,"
3. Benedict Barnes --son
-to have his choice- of Negroes
