THIS INDENTURE made this first day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Ninety one Betwen HANNAH RICE of County of Culpeper of one part and JOHN GRAVES of aforesaid County of other part; Witnesseth that in consideration of the sum of Eighty pounds current money of Virginia to said HANNAH RICE well & truly in hand paid; hath bargained & sold unto JOHN GRAVES his heirs a certain tract of land lying on the Waters of DARK RUN in aforesaid County containing Two hundred acres more or less, bounded, Begining at one Hickory, one Spanish Oak & two white Oaks standing in MOSES BURBAGEs line, a corner to RICHARD RICE and runing thence South sixty East one hundred & seventy two pole to three Pines by JOHN BARNETTs Corner, thence near and by his line North sixty East one hundred and sixty eight pole to a box Oak & two Pines standing in the said line, thence North forty five West two hundred & forty four pole to three white Oaks and red Oak saplins on a Ridge near the Old Field and corner to RICHARD RICE, thence along his line South forty five West two hundred & twenty nine pole to the begining; Together with all houses orchards and all other appurtenances belonging; To have and to hold the land and premsies from all incumbrances and to be only to the use of JOHN GRAVES his heirs; As Witness my hand and seal the day & year above written
