To wife and 2 sons: Elizabeth, extx., son Samuel Duvall, ex., and son Jesse Duvall, ex., all of estate real and personal during life of my wife then as follows:-
To son James Duvall, 150 acres part of tract "Pleasent Grove, Negro woman Sarah.
To son Jeremiah Duvall, part of tract Pleasent Grove," 100 acres, Negro boy George.
To son Gabriel Duvall, part of tract "Pleasent Grove," 200 acres, Negro boy Will, stock.
To son Samuel Duvall, part of tract "Welches Chance" on North side of Waters Branch, 1-1/4 acres and Negro woman Hannah and her dau. Hester.
To son Jesse Duvall, remainder of 'Welches Chance, Negro girl Bett.
To son Jacob Duvall, Negro woman Jugge.
To children: James Duvall, Charity, Macdougall, Elizabeth Glover, Samuel, Jacob, Jeremiah, Jesse, Gabriel Duvall, Margaret Denune and grandson Benjamin Duvall, son of Elisha Duvall.

Indenture made October 15, 1779; between Jeremiah Duvall of one part and William Hall of the other part. Whereas Samuel Duvall did by his last will and testament bequeath to his son Jeremiah Duvall 100 acres of "Pleasant Grove" and to remain in the possession of Samuel Duvall, Jesse Duvall and Elizabeth Duvall during the natural life of the said Elizabeth Duvall. Now this indenture witness that Jeremiah Duvall in consideration of 1700 pounds continental currency paid by William Hall has sold the aforesaid lands. Signed Jeremiah Duvall of Samuel in the presence of and acknowledged before Thomas Boyd, James Mullikin and at the same time Mary Duvall wife of Jeremiah Duvall relinquished her right of dower
