TO ALL XPIAN PEOPLE to whom these p:sents shall come, PHIL: EVANS of Northumberld: County, Planter, & HUGH HARRIS of ye same County, Sawyer, send Greeting in our Lord God everlasting; Know yee yt: ye sd. PHIL: EVANS & HUGH HARRIS for a good & valuable consideracon have granted unto WM, SHORTER of ye sd: County, Planter, one hundred acres of Land scituate at ye head of MATTOPONNIE RIVER, in ye aforesd: County of Northumberld:, begining at a marked white Oake standing nigh MACHOATICK HORSE PATH dividing this from ye land of THO: HARDING & extending thence South East along ye sd: PATH three hundred & twenty poles to a marked Spanish Oack standing nigh ye sd: PATH, on ye Eastward side, thence N: N: W: by a line of marked trees to another white Oake standing in a line of marked trees dividing this from y land of THO: HARDING aforesd., thence West Southwest along that line to ye first men coned white Oake, the sd: One hundred acres of land being part of a Dividend of size hundred acres granted to us the sd: PHILIP EVANS & HUGH HARRIS joyntly by Pattent; To have and to hold ye sd: One hundred acres of Land wth: all rights belonging to him the sd: WM: SHORTER his heires & assignes for ever; by & under ye yearly rent reserved for the same to our Soveraigne Lord ye King, And wee ye sd: PHILLIP EVANS & HUGH HARRIS for our selves our heires grant the said Land shall remayne cleare from any manner of claims of p:sons claymeing under us to him ye sd: WM: SHORTER his heires & assignes for ever; In Witness whereof wee have hereunto sett our hands & seales this 11th day of May 1670

These are therefor under her Majestys name to require you to attach such & so much of the Estate of BENJAMIN MASON as may satisfy PHILIP EVANS'S Debt ..
