      What I have is a transcript of a will of Robert Moseley recorded in Book G, 1778-1791 at Manassas, Prince William County, Virginia. as follows:

      "I, Robert Moseley, of the County of Prince William, though weak in body yet being of sound mind. Do make this my last will and testament in manner and form following: that is to say:

      In the first place I revoke all former wills heretofore made by me and declare this to be my only Last will and testament.

      Item: I give and bequeath to my son Robert Moseley, and his heirs, two tracts of land, one tract laying on the Back branch of the Occaquan containing one hundred and sixty-six acres. The other tract laying on the branch called Back Hall containing two hundred and fifteen acres. Both in this county. I also give to the said Robert my desk, case with bottles and thirty gallon still.

      item: I desire and direct my executors hereinafter named to sell the remainder of my personal estate consisting of horses, cattle, sheep, hogs and a Schooner boat, my personal household furniture, not belonging to the estate of John Peak, deceased, and my plantations utensils and I desire that the money coming from the sale thereof may be applied toward discharging all my debts and the residue or balance of the money after paying my debts to be equally divided between.

      my son Robert Moseley and Thomas Peak, who married my daughter lettice and I also desire that my son Robert Moseley pay unto Mary Milburn, my granddaughter, when she arrives at the age of 16 years, the sum of 25 pounds current money of Virginia in specie with legal interest thereon from the time my son Robert receives the above estate left to him till payment is made to the said Mary Milburn unless she shall die before she arrives at the age of 16 years afoersaid and without heirs and in that case I desire that the above mentioned sum of 25 pounds with interest to be computed as above directed and be paid by my son Robert to my grandson John Moseley son of said Robert.

      Lastly: I appoint the said Robert Moseley and Thomas Peak executors of this my last will and testament and in testimony that this is my only true will, I hereunto set my hand and seal this 23rd day of September 1783.

      4/16/1755: Lease from Robert Moslogo (should be Mosley) to John Redman. The
      "Outlett", 50 ac. and "Redman's Adventure", 50 ac., both lying near the head of
      Poplar Hill Creek, and formerly sold by Andrew and Ann Delaware to Samuel
      Johnson; and also "Mulberry Fields", 50 ac. beginning at a bounded chestnut
      standing on the south side of the land whereupon Samuel Johnson formerly lived
      and running south to a poplar in the line of Robert Moslogo's land so with the
      said land to a bounded poplar at the end of the said line thence with the line
      of John Redman's to the head of the creek. (Provincial Court Deeds, EI#9, 553,
      4/16/1755, Dr. Lois Green Files, MSA).

      Surveyed for Robert Mosely of Saint Mary's county, a parcel of land called Mosely's Range lying in Saint Mary's county on his Lordships Mill Manor adjoining the lands of Widow Bateman and John Hines beginning at a Red Oak marked with five notches standing on the Southmost side of the main road that leads from Popular Hill to the Mill and near a piece of cleared ground of the widow Bateman and running thence these courses following (50 courses and does not mention anyones land by name.) to the beginning containing two hundred and ten acres surveyed Tenth day of March Anno Domino 1742/3
