By carefully reading the Gilbert's Will, Gilbert must have died shortly after Nov, 1705. His wife Eliza/Elizabeth was named as sole executrix. By the time Gilbert's will was proven in 1708, Elizabeth had remarried Charles Elliott, probably 1706-1707.
Elizabeth, wife of Gilbert, was born in 1657, proven by Court Order on 11 Mar 1690, when she stated her age as 33, when she was a witness to the will of Gerrard Lowther. This would make Charles Elliott probably born abt 1655. Charles died bef 1721.
