      You John Pottinger Brashears and John Brashears do confess judgment to Robert Dughorn & Others under the firm of James Brown & Co. for the sums of 60 pounds 7 pence currency with interest from June 17, 1775 to July 4, 1776 and from September 3, 1783 till paid debt and 2 shillings and 6 pence cost of warrant which sums were recovered January 24, 1789 to be levied on your goods chattles lands or tenements for the use of Robert Dughorn & Others under the firm of James Brown & Co. in case John Pottinger Brashears shall not pay and satisfy the said sum and costs thereon on February 10th next. Acknowledged this June 29, 1789 before David Craufurd
