      Indenture made June 5, 1790; Timothy Keith and Juda Keith his wife in consideration of 5 pounds paid by Michael Lowe has sold that parcel of land devised by Joseph Simpson to his daughter Juda [Judith] Simpson called the "Two Johns" lying on the north side of the main road. Signed Timothy Keith, Juda Keith (and relinquished her dower) in the presence of and acknowledged before John Smith Brookes, Samuel Hepburn

      Indenture made August 13, 1793; Whereas James Gordon, Henry Riddell, John Campbell, John Campbell, Jr., Alexander Low and William Ingram did in court at April and September Terms 1791 did recover judgment against John Simpson heir at law and Timothy Keith and Juda Keith his wife devisees of Joseph Simpson fo the sum of 77 pounds 16 shillings and 6 pence current money the penalty of a bond and 600 pounds of tobacco cost of suit to be released on the payment of 25 pounds and 8 pence current money and interest thereon and costs of suit upon which judgment writs of fieri facias was issued to the sheriff to levy the lands of Joseph Simpson in the hand of John Simpson and Timothy Keith and Juda Keith his wife; whereupon William Dent Beall, sheriff by virtue of the writ did enter on part of the "Two Johns" containing 75 acres and expose it to sale and Michael Lowe was the highest bidder for the price of 46 pounds and 6 pence current money of Maryland which was paid. Now this indenture witnesseth that William Dent Beall, sheriff in consideration of the premises and sum of money has sold to Michael Lowe the aforesaid tract. Signed William Dent Beall, sheriff in the presence of and acknowledged before John Smith Brookes, Joseph N. Baynes
