      Levi Clore (son of Michael Clore) was born March 13, 1775, died in the summer of 1844 in Boone County, Kentucky., where he made his will May 2, 1843 (date of probate not learned). He married Mary (Polly) Yager, August 22, 1800, Madison County, Virginia., daughter of John Yager, son of Michael Yager, son of Adam Yager, son of Nicholas Yager, the 1717 emigrant. She died about 1848. Three children, names unknown, died in infancy.

      In the name of God Amen, I Levi Clore of the County of Boone and the State of Kentucky calling to mind the uncertanity [sic] of human life and being desirous to dispose of such worldy estate as it has pleased God to bless me with do hereby give and bequeath the same in the following manner:
      1st I give and bequeath to my wife Polly Clore during her natural life & widowhood the tract of land whereon I now reside it being, all the land I own as also all the slaves which I may die possessed of with my household and kitchen furniture and such other perishable property as she may wish to retain the balance to be sold and equally divided among my bodily heirs after giving to my grandson Almon Clore (son of Reuben Clore) the one half as much as one of my bodily heirs shall be entitled to and at the death of my wife Polly Clore it is my will that all the property that she may die possessed of belonging to my estate be sold by my executors hereafter to be named and also after defraying all legal expenses to be divided amongst the heirs of my body equally after giving to my said Grandson Almon Clore half as much as one of my own children may be entitled to which I wish to be understood to be the full amount of my estate that he is entitled to -
      2nd I appoint my son Adam Clore and my son Isaac Clore Executors of this my Last Will and testament -
      3rd It is my wish that Washington Watts and John H. Crawford act as Commissioners to settle with my executors should they be living at the death of my wife Polly Clore but should either of both of them be dead or so far removed as to put it out of their power to serve then and in that case that their places be filled by my Executors -
      In Witness whereof I have heareunto [sic] set my hand and affixed my seal this 2nd day of May 1843.

      p 224 [date not copied, report dated 26 January 1813 presented at this court] The last will and testament of John Dulaney Deceased was produced in Court and proven by the oaths of Joseph Graves and Levi Clore two subscribing witnesses thereto, and ordered that the same be recorded And Johnson Watts the Executor therein named having departed this life, Thereupon on motion Ordered that letters of administration of the Estate of said John Dulaney deceased is granted to Joseph Graves who took the oath thereto as by law required and entered into bond in the penalty of One thousand dollars conditioned as the law directs with William McCoy and Edward Graves his security
