      Oct 23, 1777. I, Thomas Reeves of CC, am very sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory.
      To my daughter Mary Reeves - my mare colt, now at my son, Hezekiah Reeves'.
      To my grandson Gustavus Reeve - a pied cow and yearling, now in the care of my son, Hezekiah Reeves.
      To my grandson Hezekiah Hornitt Reeves - a yearling I have at my son, James Reeves'.

      Oct 31, 1748 from George Luxford of Annapolis in Anne Arundel County, to Thomas Reeves of CC, planter. A common resurvey was suffered this Provincial Court between sd Luxford and Reeves and a certain Hezekian Reeves. Now this deed witnesses that George Lusford, for 5 shillings, has sold to Thomas Reeves all that tract of land, being part of Cashians or Causuns Manner, containing about 130 acres, lying in CC, which tract of land being part of Casheans or Causuns Manner, was devised to sd Thomas Reeves by his father, Upgate Reeves, deceased. Jul 30, 1759 from John Hanson Jr of CC, to Hezekiah Reeves (Revel) of CC, for 25 £9 shillings and 6 pence and 1110-3/4 lbs of tobacco and also for the payment of all cost which have or may accrue on a scire facias issued against sd John Hanson Jr as special bail for Thomas Reeves at the suit of Francis Parnham (provided sd cost does not amount to more than 280 lbs of tobacco) and for divers other good causes, Hanson sells to Hezekiah Reeves, during the natural life of afd Thomas Reeves of CC, planter, all that tract of land in CC called Reeveses Range, containing about 100 acres. Jan 16, 1756 from Thomas Reeves of CC, planter, to John Semple of CC, merchant, for 15,350 lbs of crop tobacco and 39 shillings and for and in consideration of sd John Semple's discharging a certain mortgage made by sd Thomas Reeves to James Mills of St. Mary's County of 3 Negroes, to wit, Nell, Terry, & Bess, and their increase, for the payment of such part of Ubgate Reeves' estate which should appear to be due to his children, now in the hands of the afd Thomas Reeves as executor to the afd Ubgate Reeves, when they should come of age or the same should be legally claimed, provided the sd James Mills as security for sd Thomas Reeves on the administration afd, should pay the same, as by sd mortgage may appear. [For all the above considerations], sd Thomas Reeves sells to sd John Semple the rest of the tract of land, being part of Canseens Manor, lying in CC on the east side of Portobacco Cr next adjoining to the land belonging to the Roman Priest that William Canseen of CC sold to Ubgate Reeves of CC on Feb 15, 1715, bounded by the head of Ware Branch, containing about 134 acres, we say, that part yet belonging to and now possessed by sd Thomas Reeves, containing about 55 acres, the other part of sd tract, 80 acres, being formerly sold by sd Thomas Reeves to Richard Mollyheux of cc. (Thomas Reeves also grants to sd John Semple], 3 Negro women now the property of sd Thomas Reeves, named Nell, Terry, & Bess, with their future increase. If, however, sd Thomas Reeves pays sd John Semple 15,350 lbs of crop tobacco and 39 shillings by Jan 15, 1762, with legal interest from Jan 15, 1748, and also pays to the children of Ubgate Reeves afd, their part of their father's estate, when they shall come of age to receive the same or when the same shall be by them legally claimed, and also pays legal interest to sd John Semple on the payment of any sum of money or tobacco which sd John Semple shall pay to sd children on account of their parts of their father's estate from the time he pays the same, then these presents shall be void. It is agreed that John Semple should not be called upon nor pay to the children of Ubgate Reeves their legal claims in their father's estate within 6 years of today, provided Thomas Reeves gives John Semple sufficient security to pay to sd children their estates afd whenever sd Thomas Reeves shall, after the expiration of the time afd, be legally required.       At the request of Thomas C Reeves the following Deed of Gift was recorded this 24th day of November Anno Domini 1800 - State of Maryland Charles County Set. Know all men by these presents that I Hezekiah Reeves of the state and county aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of twelve shillings sterling and also for the love and affection I bear my Son Thomas Courtney Reeves of the same state & county above mentioned have given granted transferred and made over by these presents Do give grant transfer and make over unto the said Thomas Courtney Reeves his heirs and assigns forever a tract or parcel of land part of Zachariah Manor called Nare's Folly lying and being in Charles County beginning at a bounded maple …(Omitted land dimensions) to the first beginning containing and laid out for three hundred and fifteen acres one rod and thirty eight perches more or less according to the certificate of survey thereof taken and returned into the land office bearing date in the year seventeen hundred and eighty nine and these remaining together with all the rights profits benefits and privileges thereunto belonging to Have and to Hold the same unto him the said Thomas Courtney Reeves his heirs and assigns forever In testimony whereof I here unto set my hand and affix my seal this second day of September in the year of our lord eighteen hundred.

      At the request of Thomas I Reeves a Deed of Gift Recorded 26 Jan 1801 for twenty shillings from Hezekiah Reeves to his nephew Thomas Isaac Reeves for a148 acres tract of land called Jordon where the said Thomas Isaac Reeves now lives and another parcel of land containing forty nine acres called Zachaia Manor Hezekiah Reeves purchased from Richard Carns where David Rhod Osborn occupies as tenant and where Hezekiah Reeves's nephew Thomas Isaac Reeves now dwells.

      Indenture made June 12, 1815; Thomas Courtney Reeves of CC in consideration of 10 pounds current money of Maryland paid by Rev. Francis Ignatius Neale of George Town in the territory of Columbia has sold a parcel of land that my grandfather Thomas Reeves and father Hezekiah Reeves both deceased sold and conveyed to Richard Molyneux now deceased as by their joint deed bearing date January 14, 1748/9 and enrolled into the records of Charles County on March 6, 1748. It being for part of a tract of land on the east side of Port Tobacco Creek adjoining to St. Thomas Manor called Causins Manor and binding on land mentioned in a deed from William Causin to Ubgate Reeves and containing 80 acres signed Thomas C. Reeves in the presence of and acknowledged before Horatio Moore, Theodore Mudd
