Samuel Glore (son of Adam Clore or Glore) married Frances Christopher, Feb. 3, 1792, present Madison County, Virginia. He appears to have been living in 1835 when his father made his will but deceased at the settlement of the estate, 1845. A record given below seems to indicate that he was deceased in 1822 but I believe that that is an error. If he went with the rest of the family to Campbell County, Kentucky., his family did not remain there long for they are found in Jefferson County, Kentucky., in part which later became Oldham. Samuel Glore and wife Frances of Jefferson County, Kentucky., on April 20, 1822, joined in deed of Morton Christopher's heirs of land in Lincoln County, Kentucky. Tradition claims that he had 8 sons of whom I have found the names of but 4. He also had several daughters.
