      V:243-245. Charles Greenberry Griffith of Charles recorded deed 26 March 1774 from
      Ludwick Davis. Whereas Ludwick Davis conveyed to his brother Thomas Davis 17 June 1761,
      two parcels, Warrenford’s Square, and Lodowicks Range, 193 acres. Deed ineffective, and
      Thomas Davis released property back to Lodowick on condition that he should convey the same to Samuel Mount of Virginia, who gave bond to said Chas G. Griffith, tract on Seneca Creek 162 acres, and Lodowick’s Range. Eleanor Davis wife of Lodowick released dower. Samuel Mounts signed assignment.
