THIS INDENTURE made the 12 March 1778 Between HENRY CHRISTLER, GEO. CHRISTLER, MICHAEL CHRISTLER, LEONARD CHRISTLER & DAVID CHRISTLER of one part and ADAM CHRISTLER of other part Witnesseth that said Henry, George, Michael, Leonard and David Christler for sum one hundred and sixty three pounds doth give unto said Adam Christler one hundred and fifty acres of land in Culpeper County in the Robinson Fork and White Oak Run and bounded Begining at a hikory thence West to the Begining

THIS INDENTURE made this 20th day of June in year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and ninety one Between GEORGE CRISTLER of County of Culpeper of one part and ADAM CRISTLER of the County aforesaid of other part; Witnesseth that GEORGE CRISTLER in consideration of the sum of One pound Ten shillings current money of Virginia to him in hand paid; hath bargained & sold ADAM CRISTLER his heirs all that tract of land containing by estimation Five acres of land lying in Coulpeper County & on the WHITE OAK RUN & bounded; Begining at a white Oak & red Oak on the WHITE OAK RUN & corner to HENRY WAYLAND, thence with his line North fifty one degrees East twenty six pole to three Pines & red Oak, another corner of said WAYLANDs, thence North two degrees West thirty four pole to three black Oaks in the said CRISTLERs Old Line, thence with that line South forty three degrees West thirty six pole to a Poplar on said Run, thence down the same, South sixteen degrees East twenty four pole to the begining; Together with all houses orchards profit claim & demand of said GEORGE CRISTLER in the premises; To have & to hold the premises with the appurtenances unto ADAM CRISTLER his heirs; And GEORGE CRISTLER his heirs warrant & forever defend the land & premises to ADAM CRISTLER his heirs; In Witness whereof the said GEORGE CRISTLER have interchangably fixed his hand & seal the day &year above written
