      THIS INDENTURE made this twelfth day of Augustin year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and seventy nine Between ADAM FISHER and ELIZABETH his Wife of one part and ARON CRIGLER of other part Witnesseth and Sheweth that ADAM FISHER and ELIZABETH his Wife for and in consideration of One hundred and thirty pounds current money of Virginia by these presents doth bargain sell and convey unto ARON CRIGLER his heirs and assigns all that tract of land lying and being in Parish of Bromfield and County of Culpeper which said ADAM FISHER purchased of MATHIAS WILHOIT which the said WILHOIT purchased of Mr. GEORGE ROOMS as the bounds will appear by ROOTES Deed to WILHOIT excepting Twenty acres sold heretofore by said WILHOIT to CHRISTOPHER CRIGLER bounded by his Deed will more fully appear containing One hundred more or less together with all houses Stables Barns orchards water courses profits of every kind thereunto belonging To have and to hold the tract of land in fee unto him and his heirs forever and ADAM FISHER and ELIZABETH his Wife doth hereby covenant and agree to warrant and defend the said Land to said ARON CRIGLER his heirs and assigns In Witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and affixed our seals the date first above written

      THIS INDENTURE made the Eighth day of Sept. in year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and Eighty two Between CHRISTOPHER CRIGLER and CATHARINE his Wife of County of Culpeper of one part and ARON CRIGLER of the aforesaid County of other part Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty pounds current money of Virginia to him the said CHRISTOPHER CRIGLER well and truly in hand paid have bargained and sold unto ARON CRIGLER his heirs and assigns forever a certain piece of land containing by Estimation Eighty nine acres lying at the foot of the GARMAN RIDGE and on the waters of ROBINSON RIVER and in the said County and bounded Begining at a Locust Stake and in an old Field and in a line of a tract of land belonging to GEORGE HUME, thence with that line East One hundred pole to a Corner of DIMMICKs Cut down, then with a line of that Pattent South forty pole to SMITHS line, thence with his line South fifty five degrees East eighty pole to two Chesnuts in said line, thence South forty five degrees West sixty pole to &Chesnut and Chesnut Oak, thence North forty six degrees West thirty seven pole to a large red Oak, thence leaving the Patent lines and runing with a line of COLO. JAMES BARBOURs North eighty two degrees West One hundred pole to two Chesnuts and a Dogwood in OUTZs line and by a Branch, thence North to the begining Together with all houses fences water courses orchards and all other appurtenances belonging To have and to hold the aforesaid land from all Incumbrances of mortgages Dowers Reversion by or from us or from any other person whatsoever and to the only use of him the said AARON CRIGLER his heirs and assigns As witness our hands and Seals the day and year above written
