      I, Samuel Mitchell of CC being weak and indisposed but sound and retentive in mind and memory
      To wife Susanna Mitchell, negroes, Peter and Anne, one bed and furniture, one table and all the chair, the tea chest and all the tea spoons, and the use of the rest of my negroes during her widowhood, and then to be divided between my two sons John Mitchell and Benedict Mitchell.
      My son Benedict to be schooled and maintained until he arrives to 17yrs, and all money now due me and the personal property not devised with the money arising from the sale of the land in Kentucky to pay my debts.

I, Samuel Mitchell of CC, planter, for the natural love that I have for my sons, John and Benedict Mitchell, and for divers other good causes, I give to my sons, John and Benedict Mitchell, 2 Negroes, Lucy and Peggy, and their increase, and 2 more Negroes, Henry & Ignatius, after my death. But if the sd John and Benedict Mitchell die before age 21, then sd Negroes and increase to be returned to me or whoever I leave them to.
