      THIS INDENTURE made this Twenty first day of March in year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred & Eighty five Between VALENTINE HART and MARY his Wife of County of Culpeper of one part and EPHRAIM FRAY of aforesaid County of other part Witnesseth that for sum of Fifty three pounds current money of Virginia to him paid have bargained and sold unto EPHRAIM FRAY his heirs a certain parcel of land containing by estimtion One hundred & twelve acres be the same more or less lying in aforesaid County and bounded begining at two Pines and a black Oak in P}JER WEAVERs line & runs thence North 25 East 146 poles to a Maple on the side of a run, thence down the sd run to a Poplar on the run thence 52 poles to two pines Corner to HENRY HUFFMANs line, thence with HUFFMANs line fifty poles to two Hickorys & white Oak Corner to sd HUFFMAN, thence N 15 E 20 to two Maples on the aforesaid branch, thence S. 50 E. 54 poles to three red Oaks Corner to MATTHIAS WEAVER, thence with said WEAVERs line to the Begining Together with all woods ways and other appurtenances belonging To have and to hold the land from all Incumbrances whatsoever to the only use of him the said EPHRAIM FRAY his heirs As Witness our hands & Seals the day & year above written
