Lower Norfolk County Records, Wills and Deeds C, 15th December 1651 - Beverly Fleet.
p.17. Will of John Sibsey of Elizabeth River in the County of Lower Norfolk, gent. Dated 15 July 1652. Ordered to be Recorded 16 Aug 1652. Land called Craney Point, now in the possession of Robert Woody to be sold for payment of debts "suddenly after my decease".
To wife Elizabeth Sibsey all plate and servants.
To dau Mary Sibsey residue of land adj Craney Point.
To Henery Wake land now in possession of Richd Pinner after expiration of lease now made.
To wife residue of lands.
To Margery Wickstead, widdow, 500 lb tobo.
To her dau Elizabeth a cow and a yewe. Residue of goods and chattels to be div in 3 parts, 2 parts to wife and the 3rd part to dau: "And if it shall happen my said daughter depte this life before Mr Conquest her husband without issue" that one half of her est returne to wife and one half to go "to Mr Richard Conquest my said Daughters husband".
To "my beloved Brother in Lawe Thomas Lambert One Pistle and my feather".
To William Jermy [the Clerk] "my blacke hilted Rapier and belt" and debts due from him.
To daughter 6 silver spoons and one servant "either my servant John Paine, or David Southerly which my said daughter will".
