Robert Bennett b 1571, one of his children was
-dau Elizabeth ann bennett. B abt 1600, d abt 1667 Kidlington, Oxfordshire, England,
Married Thomas Dew Jr. abt 1619, London, England

The "Ann" arrived in James Cittie on 7 Aug 1623. Elizabeth’s father Robert Bennett and his entire household died from the fever Aug-Nov 1623. Conditions were bad, disease, access to food and supplies, indians.... and Thomas had word his father was not well, reasons that likely drove their decision to return home when the "Ann" departed for London.
Elizabeth did not return to Virginia until 1735. Thomas made many voyages back and forth as a London merchant trading goods, and he established plantations in the Bahamas, Jamaica, and on his fathers land in Virginia. Several sons traveled with him and managed the plantations with their father.
