      Know all men by these presents that I John Alexander of the County of Stafford, gentleman for the affection and love which I have bear to my son John Alexander and for diverse other good causes and considerations me thereto moving have and by these presents due from me my heirs executors and administrators give grand assign and make over unto major George Parker of the County of Northampton and Samuel Haywood of the County of Stafford aforesaid as feofes in trust to and for the use of my said son John Alexander all my right title and interest to & in two mares with their last year colts now being in the County of Northampton ... in Accomack. You have and to hold use possessed and injoyed the said mares and colts with all their present and future increase of male and female to the only proper use and behalf of my said son John Alexander his heirs executors administrators and assigns forever without any claim or demand of me the said John Alexander my heirs executors and administrators in or to the same or any part thereof.       - Whereas WM. SMYTH of this County peticoned the Court for Administracon upon the Estate of JOHN ALEXANDER deced as greatest Creditor makeing it appeare that the sd Estate is indebted to him 2780 lbs. of Cobb: & caske, this Court do therefore grant administration upon the sd Estate to the aforesd. WM. SMYTH, he giveing in security for his due administracon of the same as also to render a true accot: of the sd Estate & surrender up the same to whom it shall more properly belong when thereunto lawfully required
      - Mr. DENNIS CARTY enters himself in as assumpsit of Ten thousand pounds of tobb: & cask together with WM. SMYTH to this Court for the sd SMYTHs due administracon of the Estate of JOHN ALEXANDER committed to him by this Court, Also to render a true account of & surrender up the same when thereunto lawfully required
