      THIS INDENTURE Witnesseth that wee the Subscribers COLL, JOHN CATLETT & CAPT THOMAS HAWKINS two of his Maties Justices of the Peace for Rappa. County doe heerby covenant promise & agree to & wth WM. HODGSON of the same County Plantr. that NICHOLAS WILLARD a Bastard Child begotten on the Body of KATHRINE JONES by NICHOLAS WILLARD late of the abovesd County decd shall from henceforth become a Servant to the abovesd HODGSON his heirs untill the sd NICHOLAS attaine to the age of twenty yeares fully to bee compleated and ended and (as Soone as God shall enable him ) the sd HODGSON to serve his heirs in such Service & imploymt, as by him or them hee shall bee imployed in for & during the aforesd tyme. In Consid: whereof the sd HODGSON for himselfe his heirs doe heerby covenant promise & agree to & wth the abovesd Justices in Behalfe of the sd NICHOLAS during the sd tyme to Finde & allow him meat drinke washing Lodgeing & sufficient apparell & at the end & expiracon thereof to pay & Deliver him two suites of apparel] one Kersey the other Cotton or Canvas paire of Drawers & two shirts one canvas the other Lockram & one Felt & three Barrl. of good sound Indian Come, In Witness whereof the pties abovesd have heeunto putt their hands this 20th day of March 1668/9,
