      At the request of Theophilus Hargraves the following Deed was recorded September 11, 1805
      Indenture made September 9, 1805; George Hillary Spalding and Elizabeth Spalding his wife, Mary Hargraves, Ann Hargraves and Henrietta Hargraves in consideration of 1,000 dollars current money of the United States paid by Theophilus Hargraves have sold a part of a tract being part of "Sickamy" and "Hawkins Barrons" conveyed by Francis Ware to Anguish McKey exclusive of that part sold by Francis Ware and Ann Ware his wife to Henry Smith. Beginning in the given line of "Sickamy" where Henry Smith now George Gray's part of "Sickamy" intersects and containing 177 acres 1 Rod and 28 perches.       At the request of Daniel Jenifer the following Deed was recorded August 25, 1806
      Indenture made April 8, 1806; Theophilus Hargraves in consideration of 1000 pounds current money of Maryland paid by Daniel Jenifer has sold part of a tract of land called "Sickamy" and "Hawkins Barrons" conveyed by Francis Ware to Anguish McKey exclusive of that part sold by Francis Ware and Ann Ware his wife to Henry Smith. Bounded by the said Henry Smith's (now George Gray's) part of "Sickamy". Which said parcel of land was heretofore conveyed by the said Francis M. Ware and Ann Ware George Gray's) part of "Sickamy". his wife to George Hargraves by deed bearing date July 4 1797. Also one other tract of land called "Sickamy" and "Hawkins Barrons" beginning at that part of "Hawkins Barrons" purchased by Thomas Crackels of the state of Maryland and binding on, "Come by Chance" and George Gray's part of "Sickamy" containing 104 acres which said parcels of land was on October 22 1798 conveyed by Francis Ware, Henry M. Hanson, Michael J. Stone, William H. McPherson, Thomas A. Dyson and Samuel McPherson to the said Theophilus Hargraves.       At the request of Theophilus Hargraves the following Deed was recorded May 24, 1809
      Indenture made April 8, 1809; George Washington Dent and Ann Dent his wife of Columbia County, Georgia, in consideration of $4000 paid by Theophilus Hargraves of CC have sold 1/3rd part right title and interest to tract "Indian Town" on the east side of Nanjemoy Creek and descended from George Hutchison jointly to his three daughters, co-heiresses and only legal representatives; viz, Mary Hutchison since intermarried with William Dent Harrison, Jane Fowke Hutchison intermarried with Theophilus Hargraves and Ann Hutchinson intermarried with George Washington Dent. Signed George W. Dent, Ann Dent in the presence of and acknowledged before David W. Crawford, John Briscoe Jr.
      Columbia County, Georgia Sct; April 7, 1809; Ann Dent wife of George Washington Dent relinquished her right of dower before John Briscoe Jr. and recorded by Peter Crawford, Clerk, Columbia County Court on April 10, 1809 in Book O page 247.       Indenture made November 23, 1816; Alexander J. McConchie and William McConchie in consideration of $1000 current money of United States paid by Theophilus Hargraves has sold part of a tract called McConchie's Springfield beginning in the forks of the road leading to Cedar Point Neck and the main road leading from Port Tobacco to Nanjemoy Church and binding on "The Addition", "York", to a small branch that divides the land from Richard Adams land to the main road leading from Port Tobacco to Cedar Point Neck containing and laid out for 111 acres 35 perches.
