      THIS INDENTURE made the Twenty Ninth day of May in the fifth yeare of the Reine of our Sovereigne Lord George by the grace of God King of Great Brittaine, France & Ireland, Defender of the faith &c., Annoq: Domini 1720, Between RICHARD WOOD of the Parish of Farnum and County of Richmond, Planter, of one part and BARTHOLO: BAKER of ye same Parish & County, Planter, of ye other part; Witnesseth that RICHARD WOOD in consideration of ye sum of five shillings Sterling to him in hand paid by BARTHOLOMEW BAKER by these presents doe bargaine and sell unto BARTHOLOMEW BAKER one tract of land containing by estimation fifty acres be ye same more or less situated in Parish of Farnum bounded, Begining att a being formerly a corner tree of THO: RILY and soe along ye outside line of RICHD. WOOD which divides the land between RICHARD WOOD & LOYDs Quarter, and soe along ye said line of trees to ye corner tree of ROBT. WHITROE now in the possession of MARMADUCK BECKWITH, then runing along ye line of marked trees to a Branch, commonly caled CALF SPRING BRANCH, to a read Oak neare ye mouth of ye sd. Branch, newly marked in ye presence of JNO: CHAMPE & RICE COOKMAN and so running up ye said CALF SPRING BRANCH to a read Oke newly marked thence along a line of marked trees to an Ould Feild to ye Maine Road which leads to Capt. BARROWs MILL and so across ye mine Rode to the head of a Branch and so runing down ye sd. Branch to an Ash standing in ye mouth of ye said Branch, being now a corner tree between RICHARD WOOD & BARTHOLOMEW BAKER marked in ye presence of JNO: CHAMP & RICE COOKMAN, Together with all houses orchards commodities gardens and appurtenances belonging; To have and to hold the tract of land hereby bargained & sould unto BARTHOLOMEW BAKER and assigns during the terme of one whole yeare thence next ensuing paying therefore unto RICHARD WOOD his heirs the rent of one Eare of Indian Corn att the Feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin next ensuing to the intent that by venue of these presents and of the Statute for transferring uses into possession, BARTHOLOMEW BAKER may be in ye actual possession of the premises & theareby the beter enabled to accept a release of the freehold & Inheritance therof; In Witnesse whereof the parties first above mentioned to these present Indenture have interchangably sett theire hands & scales the day and yeare first above written

      THIS INDENTURE made the Thirty day of March in fifth yeare of the Reigne of our Sovereigne Lord George by the grace of God of Great Brittaine and Ireland, Defendr: of the faith &c. Annoq: Domini 1720 Between RICHARD WOOD of ye Parish of Farnum in County of Richmd., Planter, of one part and BARTHOLOMEW BAKER of the same Parish and County, Planter, of other part; Wittnesseth that RICHARD WOOD in consideration of the sume of two thousand pounds of tobacco to him in hand payd by BARTHOLOMEW BAKER, by these presents doth bargaine sell release and confirm unto BARTHOLOMEW BAKER (in his actual! possession now being by vertue of a bargain and sale to him thereof made for one whole year and by force of the Statute for transferring uses into possession) his heirs one tract of land containing by estimation Fifty acres scituate in Parish of Farnum bounded (the description of the bounds of the land as in the foregoing Lease); To have and to hold the tract of land and premises with ye appurtenances belonging unto BARTHOLOMEW BAKER his heirs free and cleare from all Incumbrances whatsoever; In Witnesse whereof ye parties first above named to these presents Indentures have Enterchangably sett theire hands and seales the day & yeare first above tighten Sealed and Delivered in presnece of us

      THIS INDENTURE made the Second day of Februaryu in the Eleventh year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George by the grace of God of England Scotland France and Ireland, King, Defender of the faith &c., and in the year of our Lord one thousand seaven hundred and Twenty foure by and Between JOHN MURPHEY and MARY his Wife of Northfarnham Parish in County of Richmond (which MARY was of late Widow and Executrix of the Last Will and Testamt. of RICHARD WOOD of said Parish & County. deceased), of one part and EDWARD HINKLEY of Parish and County aforesd. of other part: Witnesseth that JOHN MURPHEY and MARY his Wife in consideration of sume of Five shillings sterling money to them in hand paid by EDWARD HINKLEY, by these presents doth hargaine and sell unto EDWARD HINKLEY and assignes all that plantation tract of land being in the Parish of Northfarnham and County of Richmond, which land was formerly purchased of Collo: WM. LOYD of Richmond County, Gent., and by said LOYD conveyed to RICHARD WOOD aforesd. for Two hundred acres of Land by Deed dated the 5th day of March 1684, and acknowledged in Richmond County Court the 6th day of May 1685. Fifty acres of sd. Two hundred acres was about six years since conveyed to BARTHOLOMEW BAKER of Parish and County aforesd., by RICHARD WOOD, deced., and by the Last Will and Testamt. of said RICHARD WOOD bareing date the 9th day of February 1717, bequeathed all his lands to his Wife, MARY, party to these presents; and her heirs, the said WOOD leaveing no other heir, the said land is abutting or runing into WESTMORELAND County lying about halfe mile back of the Maine Run of RAPPA: CREEK and begining at a Spanish Oak in the line of Collo: WM; PEIRCE and extends from thence West by North 320 per: or poles to a Hickary tree and from thence South 10 degs. West 100 poles to a Stake by a marked white Oak in Collo. PEIRCEs line, and from thence along said PEIRCEs line North by East 100 poles to the place it begun, Alsoe One hundred acres of Land more purchased of WM: LOYD by one GRIFFIN CARTER of this County by Deed dated the 6th day of August 1689 and acknowledged in Richmond County Court in December following, and by GRIFFIN CARTER sold and acknowledged the 3d. day of February 1696 to RICHARD WOOD and his heirs, the said One hundred acres of land is part of a Pattent for Thirteen hundred acres takeing its begining upon the corner tree of sd. RICHARD WOOD that is next to Collo. STONEs, in PEIRCEs line and takeing for breadth on said PEIRCEs line S. W. (blank) degs„ the first breadth of One hundred acres and so bounding on the line of aforesd. WOOD a full mile by a just survay, the whole quantity is Two hundred and fifty acres of land, Togeather with all houses orchards comodities and appurtenances belonging: To have and to hold the two tracts of land and all other the premises unto EDWD, HINKLEY his assignes dureing the full terme of one whole year paying therefore the Rent of one ear of Indian Corn at the Feast of St. Michael! the Arch Angell if lawfully demanded to the end that by vertue of these presents and of the Statute for transferring uses into possession, EDWARD HINKLEY without Attornment of Tenant. Livery of Seizin or any other Ceremony may be in actual! possession of the premises and the better enabled to accept a release of the inheritance thereof; In Witness whereof the parties first above named to these presents have interchangably sett their hands and affixed their seals the day and year first within mentioned
