      Page 71: Nathaniel Talbott: His will, made 28 March 1841, and proved 9 May 1842 (recorded Nelson County, Kentucky and Putnam County, Indiana), provided for sending his slaves to Liberia, contributed to the Liberian Mission of the M. E. Church, the Shawnee Manual Labor School, etc.; made bequests to his children (James, Edward, William, Nathaniel, Simon, Hannah, and Elizabeth), six grandchildren whose parents are named and four whose parents are not named (viz., Sarah Ann Thompson, Ruth Elizabeth Talbott, Samuel A. Talbott, and Sarah McDaniel). Abraham Birckhead was one of the witnesses.
