HENRY BECKWITH, OF DORCHESTER CO., MARYLAND, EMIGRANT.
1669. October 21st, came Henry Beckwith and proved right to fifty acres of land for transporting himself from Virginia. [Maryland Land Records, liber 12, folio 849.
The will of Henry Beckwith of Dorchester Co., Md., planter, dated 17th of August, 1717, and proved 27th of October, 1717.
He bequeathed two tracts of land called "Berry's Chance" and "Willmot's Choyse" to his well beloved son Nehemiah Beckwith, whom he appointed
