KNOW ALL MEN by these p:sents that I JOHN CURTYS of County of Lancr. Gen. as well for a valuable consideration in hand reced of DAVYD ALLYSON of the same County, Planter, as also for divers other good causes & consideracons me thereunto moving have given & confirm unto the sd DAVYD ALLYSON all that plantacon whereon the sd DAVYD ALLYSON now liveth together with all houses edifices & buildings thereunto belonging or with the same now used & enjoyed containing in the whole by estimation Two hundred & sixty acres of land be there more or less & bounding as followeth vizt., Begining by the PATH side that goeth over the GREAT SWAMP & joining the land of ABRAHAM MOONE & South West along the PATH to a marked white Oak, N. W. 320 poles to a marked Pochickory, thence N. E. 160 po: to MATTAPONY PATH, thence S.E. alongst the PATH 160 po:, thence S. by E. to the first specifyed place the sd land lying & being in the aforesd. County of Lancr: and in the occupation of the aforesd. DAVYD ALLYSON or his assignes, To have & to hold the sd Two hundred & sixty acres of land with all houses edifices & buildings thereunto belonging & also all other priviledges thereunto likewise appertaining according to the tenor of the Patent of the sd land unto the sd DAVYD ALLYSON his heirs & assignes forever to the sole only & p:per use of the sd DAVYD ALLYSON his heirs & assignes forever and I the sd JO: CURTYS do for me my heirs & assignes grant to warrant & defend the aforesd land wth: its appurts: unto the sd DAVYD ALLYSON his heirs & assignes forever agst. all p:sons wcsoever (the Rent to his Mate: hereby excepted & foreprized) And I do likewise p:mise to make further assureance of the p:mises when thereunto lawfully required In 'Witnes whereof I the sd JOHN CURTYS have hereunto put my hand & seale this 10th of Nov: 1662

KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I WILLIAM DOWNING of County of LANCASTER, Taylor as well for a consideracion in hand recd of WILL. HATHAWAY Planter of same County have given unto the said WILL. HATHAWAY the full quantity of one hundred acres of land out of that part of the lands where now the said DOWNING is seated & the aforesaid lands adjoyneing to lands of DAVID ALLISON to be laid out by it selfe att the upper end of the aforesaid DOWNEING bearing the charges of laying out the aforesaid land lying in the County of LANCASTER. - Whereas DAVID ALLISON late of this County Dyed Intestate, leaveing behind him a Considerable Estate, And there appeareing noe Relation or Credits (other then ye. Orphants of ye sd DAVID ALLISON) That can pretend any Right to have Administration upon ye sd Estate, And Whereas ANN ALLISON & KATHERINE ALLISON ye two eldest Daughters & Orphants of ye sd DAVID ALLISON have this day in Courte made Choyce of Mr. RICHARD ROBINSON of ye sd County to be their Gaurdian Administration of all & Singuler ye goods & Chattells Rights & Creditts of ye sd DAVID ALLISON late decd is therefore granted to ye sd RICHD. THIS INDENTURE made the first of February 1691/2 Between JOSEPH GOARE of Middx. County Plantr: & MARY his Wife one of the Daughters and Coheires of DAVID ALISON late of Middlesex County of the one parte & Capt. WILLIAM DANIELL of the said County Gent. of the other parte Wittnesseth that whereas David Allison dyed possessed of three several tracts one tract being in RAPPAHANNOCY. County and by estemation conteines Three hundred and sixty acres of land and said David Allison dying Intestate and leaveing four Daughters Coheires (Vizt) ANN now wife of EDWARD CLERKE, CATHERINE now Wife of BENJAMIN MARSH, MARY now wife of JOSEPH GOARE and ELIZABETH now wife to HENRY GOARE, who did make a certain verball agreement and made choyce of these several! fourth parts of all the lands the said Allison dyed soe possessed; that is to say. Edward Clerke and Joseph Goare did in right of their wives Ann and Mary make choyce of all the lands in Rappahannock County for there fourth parts and the said Joseph Goare and Mary his Wife being so seased in ffee taile in one full fourth part of all the lands doth for and in consideration of the sume of thirty seaven pounds tens shillings Sterling money hath granted unto the said William Daniell one full fourth part of all the before recited premises

Then personally appeared the above named Joseph Goare and acknowledged the above deed to be his act & deed also came Mary Goare in her own person and being privately examined does publickly acknowledge the same to be her act & deed.

KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I Joseph Goare doe owe and stand firmeley bound unto Capt. William Daniell in the penall sume of Twenty pounds of good lawful money of England this first day of February 1691.
The Condition of this obligation is such that if the above bound Joseph Goare doth well and truely observe the covenants whatsoever ought to be observed in an Indenture that then this obligation to be voyd or else to stand
