      THIS INDENTURE made this twentieth day of June in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and forty one, Between JOHN KING of Parish of Trurowe in the County of PRINCE WILLIAM of one part and MATTHEW RUST of Parish of Cople and County of Westmoreland of other part; Witnesseth that JOHN KING in consideration of the quantity of Sixteen thousand pounds of lawful tobacco to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge, hath and by these presents doth bargain and sell unto MATTHEW RUST his heirs a certain parcel of land containing One hundred and fifty acres in County of Westmoreland at the upper end of SMITHs and PULLENs Patent, bounding upon the Land of PETER KNIGHT and upon the Land of RICHARD HOLDEN with all its rights members and appurtenances; To have and to hold the land plantation and premises unto MATTHEW RUST his heirs and JOHN KING for himself his heirs the land and premises unto MATTHEW RUST his heirs against all persons shall warrant and defend for ever by these presents: In Witness whereof the parties to these presents have interchangeably set their hands and seals the day and year first above written

Gent., Justices of the County of PRINCE WILLIAM pursuant to a Commission to them directed for the privy examination of MARY. the Wife of JOHN KING. her, the said MARY's Dower and Thirds in and to the lands mentioned in the Deed, is relinquished, all which on motion of the said RUST are admitted to Record

      THIS INDENTURE made the twenty fifth and twenty sixth day of April in the nineteenth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord KING GEORGE the Second and in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty six Between JOSEPH KING of Hamilton in the County of Prince William Planter and BENJAMIN KING of the same place Planter, ROBERT KING of Truro in the County of FAIRFAX Planter, THOMAS KING & JOHN KING of the same place Planters of the one part and AQUILLA SNELLING of Dettingen in the County of Prince William of the other part Witnesseth that the said JOSEPH KING, BENJAMIN KING, ROBERT KING, THOMAS KING and JOHN KING in consideration of the sum of Forty seven pounds current money of Virginia by these presents hath granted unto the said AQUILLA SNELLING (in his actual possession now being by virtue of a bargain and sale for one whole year and by force of the Statute made for transferring uses into possession) and to his heirs and assigns for ever All that parcel of land containing Two hundred and thirty two acres being in the County of Prince William and bounded beginnong at a white Oak saplin near a dead Oak standing in HORSE PEN RUN and corner to WILLIAM RUSSELL thence So. Et. to a white Oak thence So. Wt. to a white Oak thence No. Wt. to a white Oak near the land of WILLIAM RUSSELL thence No, Et. to the beginning and also all houses and appurtenances whatsoever belonging to the said tract of land (which said tract of land was granted unto JOSEPH KING late of the County of STAFFORD Deceased Father to the said JOSEPH KING, BENJAMIN KING, ROBERT KING, THOMAS KING and JOHN KING parties to these presents by Deed from the PROPRIETORS of the NORTHERN NECK bearing date the 30th day of July one thousand seven hundred and fifteen and the said JOSEPH KING in & by his last Will and Testament in writeing bearing date the 30th day of September one thousand seven hundred and twenty eight gave to his Son ROBERT KING party to these presents Fifty acres of land part of the said land hereby conveyed and the remainder to his Sons THOMAS KING, BENJAMIN KING and JOHN KING parties to these presents equally to be divided whereby they are intitled only to an estate for life of and in the said premises hereby conveyed & the reversion is vested in the said JOSEPH KING party to these presents as Eldest Son and Heir at Law of the said JOSEPH KING deceased as in and by the said Will remaining of record in the County Court of STAFFORD relation being thereunto had To Have and To Hold the said parcel of land unto the said AQUILLA SNELLING his heirs and assigns forever.       King to Rust Indenture
      This indenture made the 14th day of December 1762, between John King of Loudoun County, planter and Mary King his wife of the one part and Vincent Rust of the county of Westmoreland, planter of the other part. Witnesseth that John King and Mary King his wife in consideration of 15 pounds current money of Virginia has sold to Vincent Rust a parcel of land whereon Edward Pack lived being by estimation 60 acres which said land was also given to Jane Ashton God daughter to William Smith [d. 1707] for her natural life as will appear by his last will and testament which land after the Jane Ashton’s death vested in the said John King as heir at law to the said William Smith. In witness whereof the said John King and Mary King his wife hath hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written.
