  === 1716-1718 Westmoreland County, Virginia Order Book, Part 6 [Antient Press]; Page 28 Westmoreland County Court 27th of February 1716/17 in money and make report thereof to the next Court - RAGAN's Admon granted JOHN BUTLER, who intermarried with SARAH, Relict of TIMOTHY RAGAN, deced., came into Court and made Oath that TIMOTHY departed this life without makeing any Will soe farr as he knows or believes and upon his motion Certificate is granted him for obtaining Letters of Administration on the Decedent's Estate in due form; WILLIAM BUTLER and JOHN MOORE assumeing in Court to be Security for their faithfull administration according to Law, And it is ordered JAMES COLEMAN, JEREMIAH GARLAND, PATRICK SPENCE and WILLIAM GARDNER or any three of them being first sworn before one ofhis Majesties Justices for this County, doe some time before the next Court to be held for this County value and appraise the Decedent's Estate in money and make report thereof to the next Court
