      1st husband Robert Jadwin, with whom she was transported due to Robert Jadwin's malfeasance in the Cutler Company - On 25 Sep 1651, Robert Jadwyn, now of Virginia, sent a letter to the Company peticoninge for and desiringe thereby certen knyves that the Mr & Wardens had seized being bad and deceiptful wares'. The Court ordered 'that all the knyves soe seized as bad wares should be sent him wch then was delivered to his brother in law Mr. Smith a silke dyer to be sent unto him.'. She appears in a headright list Oct 1658.

      2nd husband Nicholas Journew - Nicholas Jerneuw 200A Northumberland Co. dtd 29 Nov 1662; next to John Earle. Renewal of patent granted 5 Oct 1654. This land was adjacent to Robert Jadwins' land acquired from Earle.

Lease and release; for 3000 pounds of tobacco. 370 acres in Youcomoco in said parish ... upon the land of Jeremiah Jadwin and the land of Alexander Spence, and the land of William Daine, which land formerly beinng granted unto Mr. WILLIAM REYNOLDS deceased, and upon the lands of William Carr, and upon the land of James Coleman, and upon the head of a creek or branch formerly called Cotank and now commonly called Tucker's Run ... formerly granted unto Thomas Phillpot of the said parish and county, deceased, and by the said Phillpot pattented 14 Aug. 1668, 100 acres thereof pattented by another pattent by the said Phillpot 1652 and 270 acres likewise pattented by the said Phillpot 1662.       Evangelists severally depose as follows: John Critcher of the said county is the eldest son and heir of law of Jane, one of the two daughters and coheirs of Robert Jadwin, deceased, late of the said county, and that John Critcher now lives upon and inherits the land and estate of said Robert. That they well know that the said Robert had two brothers, John and Jeremiah, the last of which died in the said county without issue whose land and estate descended to John Critcher and Robert Parvis, son of Cicily, the other daughter of the said Robert Jadwin. That the said John Jadwin removed out of this colony, and the deponents have heard that he settled in Maryland, and further these deponents say not.
