March 26th 1655
Memorandum - In the name of God and a Gods name, this is my last will and testament. First I do bequeath my soul to my Lord God and Blessed Savior and Redeemer. Secondly I do bequeath my body to my mother earth from whence it came. Here I do bequeath to my son Thomas Hickman two hundred acres of land joining the Northside unto John Bennetts marked trees according to the pattent. Secondly to my daughter Diana Hickman I do bequeath one hundred acres of land laying in the middle of the divident adjoining to her brother Thomas on the North and her brother Nathaniel on the South. Thirdly I do bequeath one hundred and fifty acres unto Nathaniel Hickman the younger on the Souther side according to pattent. And I do firmly bind this land by my will and testament for them and their heirs forever and not to sell nor to make this land not by buying or any way for to make it firm upon record for them and their heirs forever Amen, and after my debts be paid then all goods and hogs or what else, let it equally be divided between the mother, the 4 children. Here I leave all to the Almighty and I bequeath my soul to God my body to the Earth Amen, Amen.

- Whereas it doth appeare unto the Court that NATHANIEL HICKMAN doth owe unto Mr. HUGH LEE the summe of Foure hundred thirty and foyer pounds of tobacco and caske due by Bill, the Court doth therefore ordr: that AVIS HICKMAN, Administratrix of the said NATHANIEL HICKMAN, shall by the tenth of Novembr: in the yeare of our Lord one thousand six hundred fifty and six make paymt, of the said Debt unto the said Mr. LEE out of the deceased Estate according to order of recovery

- Whereas there is due unto Mr. THOMAS WILSFORD from NATHANIELL HICKMAN for levies and fees the summe of One hundred twenty and one pounds of tobco: the Court doth therefore order that AVIS HICKMAN, Administratrix of the Estate of the sd. NATHANIELL HICKMAN, shall by the tenth of November in the yeare of our Lord one thousand six hundred fifty and sic make payment of the said Debt unto the said Mr. WILSFORD out of the deceaseds Estate according to the order of recovery

WM: BONUS liveth; & I doe also freely give unto EDW: HENLY, Two hundred acres of Land to him & his heyres for ever; scituate lying & being in YOACOMAKO joyning upon ROBT: JEFFERYES & I doe give to ROBT: BRYERY one 2 year old Heyfer soe long as he ye sd: ROBT: BRYERY liveth; & I doe also give to MARY HICHCOCK one three yeare old Heyer and I doe set depute constitute & ordayne & doe by these p:sents constitute & ordeyne my true & trusty & well beloved Friend, ROBT: HICHCOCK to be my Lawful.
